The lid and housing are made of cast aluminium and they sit on a fibreglass-reinforced nylon frame. It’s stable, durable and designed to last.

 

Designed around a single gas burner that offers 3.52 kW of heat. Easy to lit thanks to ignition at the touch of a button and a continuously adjustable burner valve. Under the grill is a removable drip tray, making it easier to clean.

 

A grill size of 54 cm by 39cm provide adequate space if you’re cooking for a small family or couple. That said, it isn’t designed for catering to large parties.

 

Under the lid sits porcelain-enamelled, cast-iron cooking grates that ensure your food is evenly cooked. The marriage between the grill and the burner means you can easily achieve a perfect BBQ result.

 

Even for such a compact design, Weber has included plenty of storage. Two fold-out shelves allow you to place tools, food, and drinks next to the grill. Once you’ve finished cooking, they fold on top of the grill and sit under the lid, only taking up minimal space.

 

There is plenty of storage space below the grill that’s hidden by a metal panel. Excellent for a gas bottle, packs of buns or bowls of salad. These little touches make all the difference.

 

 

Conclusion

Slightly over our budget, the Weber Q 2000 Gas Grill is superb for use at home as long as you have a small family. It does require assembly and isn’t easy to move as the design doesn’t include castors. So while the idea size for travelling or BBQs on the beach, you might struggle.

 

That said, Weber has included some superb features such as the folding shelves, tool hooks and a continuously adjustable burner valve. All of which makes up for the compact size and lack of wheels. And that’s without mentioning the superior cooking grates.

 

Like other gas BBQ, it is difficult to clean despite having a removing drip tray but as soon as you fire it up, you’ll quickly forget about this as the cooking result speaks for themselves. 9/10

Thanks to its fairly complex design, the CosmoGrill 4+1 Gas Grill take about 2 hours to assemble and is tricky. That said, once put together, it’s solid and rugged, allowing for years of use. You’ll soon forget about the pain of construction as it’s a fantastic gas BBQ.

 

As the ideal BBQ for a large family or entertaining, there’s plenty of cooking space, including the warmer and side burner. Unlike other gas BBQs on our list, we like how this side burner can be hidden, creating even more storage and preparation space.

 

For the price, we’re confused why no hose or regulator is included, but at least they are upfront with this. The storage cupboard is ideal and superb for hiding things you don’t want your guests to see or piles of buns! It’s also easy to move and clean as many parts are easily wiped clean. 9/10

Annoyingly, you need to supply your a hose and regulator, which for the price you’ll pay should be included. When you light it up for the first time, you quickly realise how easy it is to grill food and adjust the heat. Even using two of the four burners provides plenty of cooking space.

 

The enamelled grills and griddle plate ensure food is evenly cooked, despite both being a pain to clean. Thankfully, a lot of oils and fat drop into the removable drip tray, helping you to keep your BBQ clean.

 

But that’s not all. The extras are well worth restating. It has two side tables, tool hooks, and a large shelf at the bottom. Plus it’s very portable, making moving it inside when not in use, painless. 8/10

Conclusion

Despite the premium price, the Dellonda 3 Burner Gas BBQ arrives flat pack and is tricky to assemble thanks to a poor design and bad instructions. That said, Dellonda offers superb customer care and are willing to fix any issues.

 

Putting that to one side, there’s plenty to like about the unit. It’s a generous size, offers lots of storage and is easy to wheel around. There’s plenty of cooking space and with three burners, you can section the grill into multiple areas, each with a different temperature.
